Footwear are made from different types of materials. What is the best material for soles of footwear ?

There are various types of soles and processes which are used in  making of footwear. They are PU (polyurethane) Sole , Rubber sole , TPR sole , Leather sole , Plastic sole , sheet sole. PU sole is great and tough you can wear it for very long period and duration.  it doesn't have a specific time frame of realistic usability. But if you don't utilize it for quite a while or in the event that you are utilizing it once in a while the sole will break.

Thermo Plastic Rubber or TPR Sole -

TPR is the most used material in soles of footwear because this sole offers superior comfort to ordinary die cut soles, because it is flexible like a traditional leather sole but also washable and more durable. It is the  conventional and popular material for injecting the soles,but in daily life,many people don't know whether the shoes they wear are made of TPR. 

Advanatges - Light in weight, Good tear strength, Excellent abrasion resistant, Excellent weather resistant , Reusable and recyclable.

Polyurethane or PU Sole -

This is a type of dense foam that provides a great deal of cushioning and shock absorption for a longer period of time. Because it is so dense it can feel heavier, seem stiffer, and may not feel quite as cushioned as shoes that use EVA. It is most commonly used in walking shoes because it provides a great deal of stability and comfort.

Disadvantages: easy to break, elongation is poor and poor ventilation.

Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC Sole -

The PVC Soles have great oil resistance, abrasion resistance, good insulation properties. Plastic sole is normally used by people working closely with water or places where there is rain ..

Disadvantages: non-slip performance is poor, poor texture, poor ventilation.

Leather and rubber - both long last and are super comfortable. Leather sole will need more care and attention and will need some wearing off to avoid slipping. Also, leather sole may not be recommend ed to be worn on wet surfaces. Leather sole is actually a CAR TO CARPET concept sole. we cannot use it daily and is not for rough use ...(Using for BROGUE models shoes)

 Rubber Sole is good , sometimes its heavy.

PU material soles are the best option as they are light-weighted, more flexibility, water-resistant, durable. PU soles are light and erosion resistant ̧ which make it perfect for the manufacturing of hard wearing shoes.
